The Elephants Nest Inn

The Elephant’s Nest Inn is a quintessentially English – and Devonshire – country pub and b and b set in a peaceful location within the Dartmoor National Park. It is a place to meet whether for a drink or to eat in a relaxed and informal atmosphere. There are open log fires thick stone walls and slate floors inside and outside there is a large and recently extended garden which provides marvellous views of the moor. Our newly built extension respects the original 16th century pub in both proportion and use of materials with the exterior clad in local stone. However inside we have some of the most up-to-date facilities in three generously sized rooms each with it’s own en- suite bath or shower room. Beautifully finished with solid oak floors and under floor heating. Dogs are more than welcome in the rooms for an additional supplement
