Welcome to Canoe Tamar

Our canoeing trips start at Cotehele Quay on the River Tamar, in Tavistock, Devon, a beautiful part of the country to explore on our scenic route. You will enjoy a relaxing journey past some of the most stunning scenery in England, past old quays and woodland, and farms and boatyards. You will also be able to spot local woldlife, including bird life, heron, water fowl and kingfisher, you might even see a salmon leaping, and seals and otters. Your trip will last about 3-3.5 hours, with time for a picnic or a riverside meadow
